Hi Chopras,

I am extremely excited at being admitted to University of California, Berkeley. I am extremely thankful to my Parents and Bhaskar Sir for guiding me throughout the process. The 'Chopras Team' helped me a lot in order to choose the Universities and in application process. I am especially impressed by the editing of SOP and LOR's which really make a difference in application to highly competitive top Universities like UC Berkeley.

Finally even after getting admission, I was guided for my visa process which made the process quite simple & hassle-free. I would just like to thank Bhaskar Sir especially for his attention in all aspects of my admission process.

Hello Chopras,

Im currently doing my bachelor of engineering in ANU, Australia hope you remember. But I know you will never forget my grandfather. After coming here I realized that I should have done a double degree as they say it takes a year extra and it also reduces the cost. Life in Canberra is awesome. And one more thing I found out that in Ursula hall they often reject applications, thats why I didnt get it (I guess). And they say here Johns and Bruce are the best for catered and for self catered unilodge is the best. Uniloge rocks. They say Australia is racist and blah blah but to be frank people here are so friendly unlike India. I have got couple of Australian friends also. Even though they are Australians, they say that in Melbourne or Sydney no matter where they are they themselves wont go to certain areas especially during the night. So its our mistake as we work late in the nights and moreover we dont know which place is safe and which is not as its not our country, so it is up to us to be careful. Everyone here is ready to help. Its nothing that people in Australia are bad. In-fact one of my Indian friend last year (currently second year in software engineering) told that he didnt have accommodation on campus so he had to stay off campus and he was accepted by an Australian family as a paying guest. He told me that they were really very kind and at times would ask him to join them for dinner also. So now I hope everyone accepts that Australia is safe and a very friendly place to study.

Regarding myself, I was forced to accept a self catered accommodation on campus. To be frank I didnt even know how to switch on the gas and had no idea about cooking at all. The only thing I knew was how to make an egg. Now, I have started making chicken, pasta, rice, burgers etc. etc. and now I love cooking.

Finally, I thank Apala maam for making everything possible and now its time to study, so gotta go............

Hi Chopras,

Looking back on the way things happened for me, I believe it would not have been possible without your assistance. I must thank "The Chopras" and especially Sangeetha and Aparna for the way you guided me from selection of the country to do the course, the university and the course. I would like to inform you that the course and academic condition is really excellent here. The courses are taught in a practical way so that we could get the deeper picture of the course and can understand concepts more easily. They are conducting workshops for the all aspects of the course. In workshops we are suppose to design or develop a model with the scenario given by them. This was very interesting and the thing which I have never done in India. First I was afraid of the Australian university due to media now I feel more comfortable here. People are very friendly here they smile at you even you are not known to them at first it was very new to me now I got adjusted with it and started greeting people.

I felt like sharing my experience with you by mail because you people could be busy with next batch of people. I tried calling but there was no response from your side. Once again thanks from the bottom of my heart to Apala mam, Aparna mam and the whole Chopras team.

Hi Chopras,

Wanted to share some feedback about my experience at JCU with you. Faculty is very good no doubts about that. Campus is also well built. Cafeteria is also nice; a bit small in size but that is what i like about it. You get decent food in cafeteria; they serve Indian food as well.

Apart from this colleges student services is also very good and helpful. If you talk about crowd, well its mixed actually. People have come to this university from all across the globe. Not only Asians but people from UK, USA, Europe and even from Australia have come here especially in this session (march 2010).

JCU has got huge number students in this session ; its about 60 only in MBA. In other courses as well they have got huge strength at graduation and post graduation levels.

Thanks for helping me get here,

Seriously, services given by "The Chopras" is excellent and I want to thank you, ’coz I know more now than I did before because of you. Whenever I dialed your number, you were always there to solve my queries straight away.

At UWIC, the study pattern is totally different from India, but I enjoyed studying here very much,’coz they are trying to enhance our thinking style, which is a major key factor in a managerial level itself.

Cardiff is a very nice city in Wales. So far tit has been a very good experience here. Their first language is WELSH. Their living style is totally different from India. Apart from academic knowledge, I can see myself gaining very rich personal development skills very easily.

"The Chopras" has helped me in shifting my entire future into a brighter scope. Its like, I am living a new life here and am living a lifestyle that is giving me a great chance to build my career in a positive direction.

Hi there,

I just wanted to say a Big Thank to you all. I came to UK through the Chopras to do my masters at Newcastle University and was very satisfied with all your services and help in the process. As the time has moved, so have I. My hard work at Newcastle was worthwhile as after winning the best student of the university award there I was offered a PhD at the esteem University of Cambridge for my PhD as a stipend paid and full tution fee scholarship program. I also recommended some of my juniors to take your services and make themselves at ease.

Hi Deepa,

Long long loooong time :-) I am doing really good out here. Pittsburgh is totally awesome. I am seeing autumn for the first time in my life :-) but lately its getting kinda cold. The university? no words to describe. I cant believe that this university is so damn popular in US. Its highly ranked and we do projects in collaboration with students in Stanford. My batch is really interesting! I was under the impression that Masters would consist of students with almost no work exp. I am horribly wrong.. There are many people who have about 8 years, 6 years etc experience. I feel like a kiddo :-) There is a sayin here "If you wanna steal, u steal to get into CMU" Cool na? :-D

Studies are different here.. Loads of assignments and very few tests. Its all group work, group work and more group work! I often feel totally stupid because the people here are sooooo Smart. It does take time to adapt to all the people out here. The culture, behavior is so different. But the exposure that i am getting is really amazing. Learning more and more each day. The other day we had a huge job fair with around 150 international companies participating. Managed to talk and forward my resume to companies like Google, Apple, Adobe etc. It was fun. Hopefully i can end up doing an internship by next summer!

Having said all this, i cant really describe how helpful you were in helping me reach where i am. If not for your guidance, assurance and support i really dont think i could have pulled this off in a mere span of 3 months. It is funny when i think of those times- calling you almost everyday(after getting through the student number formalities with the receptionist) asking for next steps! Anyways i am halfway through this semester and will be starting my Visa formalities for Portugal soon. Planning to fly by end of December.

Hope your really doing good out there helping more and more people(George Cyril included.. he he.. ). When i came to Chopras in Nov 2008 and paid 17k, I thought that money was as good as GONE! Seriously.. But now i know it paid off.. big time... and i find myself in one of the best Universities in the whole world.. Oh Boy! :-)

Once again Thanks a ton for everything and really sorry for being late in mailing you,
Take care :-)

Hope everything is going on smooth at your side. I would like to give good news that I have been granted a scholarship of 2000. All thanks to Sheela mam who took the responsibility that the scholarship form was filled correctly with proper contents.

I Thank Chopras from bottom of my heart that they were able to put me through NTU at end of admission times. I thought I would not get through this September intake but, Sheela mam made it possible. She left no stone unturned to put me through the best universities in UK. She made me attend each & every spot admissions which were available at "The Chopras". Even when I didn't get through many universities she made sure that my morale was not going down and encouraged me through out. I used to give her a call 5-7 times a day & every time she would reply with same enthusiasm. THANK YOU for every thin SHEELA MAM.

When I visited "The Chopras" for the first time I was surprised to see that they do not work with the intention of making business but, work together as a FAMILY. I got a treatment as tough I was one among them. I have been to few other consultancy services in Chennai but nothing satisfied me as the Chopras did. In fact Chopras have been giving me a follow up calls since 1 year but I never turned up & this is the biggest mistake I made in my education life. I sincerely apologize to the Team for the same.

Last but not the least I would thank Sangeetha Mam for all her support and making my dream coming true. I will defiantly recommend all my friends & cousins to choose "THE CHOPRAS" for overseas consultancies. Wishing you all the best for all the future endeavours.

Hi "The Chopras"

Dear Aaanchal Maam

I am very well, thank you. First of all, I am sorry for my late reply. I owe a great cheers to the whole team who played a very important role in making me reach here. It was 2006 when I was in dilemma where as to pursue my Post grads. Aanchal Maam guided me very well to choose the univeristy according to my subject of interest, then through the visa process and pre-preps. Oh how can i forget my last minute panic when my B.Sc result was not out and I was struggling for a letter from uni to say that I hav passed. Aanchal Maam used to ring me to ask me for my letter "jyotika, dont worry, try to get ny proof of ur results from uni and wel be able to make it then" That was so sweet of her. And that day, how happy was I when that piece of paper was in my hands and I took no time in ringing Maam to say " I got it!" and my file ws complete then. Then the visa in next 48 hours!!! Finally I landed in Scotland with ambitions in my heart to make my career. Time passed away so quickly. I got my M.Sc. in Food Biotechnology. The uni life was amazing. After my studies, I applied for Post study work visa and got a job as Quality controller in a food company. With 6 months of my experience, I moved onto the Quality Assurance Supervisor in a food company. I am enjoying my job and very happy for all the decisions I made in my life under the proper guidance from the whole Chopras Team. Cheers to Aanchal Maam and the Team!

Hi "The Chopras"

I take a lot of pride in saying that Chopras is the main reason why i am in
Switzerland. the office staffs are really nice and its a homely atmosphere in
the office.

In the past i had some really bad experience that made me think that i would forget about going abroad, but Chopras gave me that confidence to continue working towards my goal.

I did not have to worry much about my visa filing as Glenda maam and the rest of the staff at the Bangalore office guided me in the easiest manner ever, they even made me prepare for the visa interview.

So I always think the first right decision i have made is that i will do my hospitality management in HTMi, and the second thing is that i left my future in the very capable hands of "The Chopras".

Thank you once again everyone who guided me and helped me in the process

Hi "The Chopras"

First of all extremely sorry for not replying earlier. In fact I lost most of my gmail contacts when i accidentally deleting some messages. Thanks for mailing and I would like to inform you that the course and academic condition is really excellent here. Teaching is good but only problem is that most students are Indians only and Coventry itself is an Indian city.So its hard to believe some times you are out of India, all Indian food items are available and expenses are also reasonable. University is organizing trips to tourist places in and around in every months .Pass my special regards to Sydney and all the staff there.Once again thanks for your kind service.Wish you all the best in future.

Hi "The Chopras",

To my dearest Akanksha mam,

I m writing down this testimonial just for you.Through this I would like everyone to know how important you are for making my career a success.

It is because of her inevitable efforts that I got my faith back and confiding in her has made me a confident and obstinate person. When I first spoke to Akanksha mam I was clueless and confused and was at witts end.She was paitent and calm and after hearing my problem she took my case in her hands and from thereon my visa process became smooth and easy. She was in touch with my university and even with her visa department. she intimated me on my file progress regularly without me even calling her.

She advised me for my medical examination provided me with right guidelines.

Her fantastic efforts fructified and I got my visa 15 days prior to my session which was nearly impossible. Akanksha mam is the best thing that happened to me after attaching with "The chopras". Today she is a friend, mentor and guide. She is still advising me upon my future and my life in Australia. I will recognize the name of "The Chopras" just because of her efforts and desire to make a person's carrier a success.

I thank her with all my being.

Hi "The Chopras",

Before giving about my views about the overall experience with Kaplan in Delhi and with Mr. Vinod. I would like to tell something about myself, I am Masters Student in Australia and here from last two years. From school days I had writing problem. It was not structured and vocab. Is highly limited. Same issues happened in IELTS also. Then I decided to take coaching class. One of my friends told me about Chopras and especially about Vinod. He was a previous student in Chopras and had taken IELTS coaching from Chopras. So I decided to take coaching class. Before starting this coaching Vinod ask me to send one my writing and had long conversation with about my weakness and strong points. I think it is important to understand the student weakness before working on it. The writing I send before starting coaching has cleared my weak points like bad sentence structure and limited vocab. So Vinod replied me on that writing and send a whole list of vocabulary which I learned from heart. After few writings I started improving and consistent guidance from Vinod helped to cover my silly mistakes like problem in past tense. Now I can say that I am a good writer. Apart from writing I had been send many readings on different difficulty level which also ensured improvement in reading also. Listening and speaking skills are also played important part in improving my bands. I am really thankful to Mr. Vinod. It is because of his consistent hard work I am able to improve.

Sidharth

Hi "The Chopras"

*Old fashioned courtesy sometimes gets short shrift in our fast paced world. Thats a shame, because saying thank you is one of the easiest ways to make people feel appreciated and good about themselves. *

I completely agree with J.W Marriot and with this small note extend my sincere gratitude to all my counsellors at *the chopras* who not only helped me shape my plan of studying abroad but also encouraged and motivated me to realize it.

*Kavita* helped me initially to shortlist universities and get the application procedure started and constantly pushed me to complete everything on time when I was not able to devote anytime towards it because of my professional commitments.

*Jyoti* was a great help in not only completing all applications accurately and in time but also to keep piles and piles of paperwork in order.

*Garima*
asked some probing question while I prepared for my Visa interview and gave some great suggestions which made the real interview extremely simple and a pleasant experience.

**
*Bhaskar* with all his experience and expertise not only supervised the entire process extremely well but also ensured that we never missed a deadline or an essential detail, he was always available to answer any questions that I had. Personal accountability and professional commitment
are adjectives and values that truly describe his working style.

They say that the only people with whom you should try to get even are those who have helped you.

If there is anything at all that I can do for you please let me know.

Thank You for everything.

Hi "The Chopras"

I have consulted "The Chopras" to persue my masters of Information Technology from an Australian University, and i am really happy to choose "The Chopras" as my consultants.

The australian councelors really helped me a lot in figuring out the best university in Australia. They provided me with the whole knowledge about all the best universities and all expenses amongst different parts of Australia.

They helped me to get through the enrollment process easily. The upto date communication was the most appreciable part while going through the enrollment process. I am really thankfull to the members of the team for providing such facilities to the students who are ready to have an international exposure.

Special thanks to the visa team, they really helped a lot in maintaining the documents and because of them only i got my visa process done approx under 3 weeks. Though i was not in delhi all the time still information is provided by them to me very regularly and incase of any sort of problem they know how to tackle it out. Thanks a lot team keep up the good work.

Once again thanks a lot to "The Chopras" for establishing such an organisation and helping students to get overseas heigher education.

Hi "The Chopras"

First of all Im sorry it took me a while to get back to you.I was really pleased to know that you guys still remember me and wanted to get in touch with me. I am in UK now and is settled with a very good job here. I am very grateful for your support and guidance which has been truly amazing and lifechanging for me. I am now working as a Specialist physiotherapist in an NHS hospital here.

I got married two years ago and we have been blessed with a baby girl now. I joined my MSc Neurological Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University in September 2005 and I got a permanent job with a 5 years work-permit by June 2006 which was even before I completed my course.

The unversity experience has been brilliant and it has changed my life completely within a matter of months.Although it was a bit difficult to settle in initially with new ways of learning and adapting to a completely different and new lifestyle, when I look back now,it was all worth the effort. It was a lifetime ambition for me to do a masters from a British university and Im grateful to Chopras for finding me a place in Europes top 2 university in ranking. I graduated in Nov 2007 and my parents came over to be there to watch me getting the award and it was a wonderful experience for them too.Ive attached a few snaps of my gradution ceremony too. I would very much like to be part of The Chopras alumni and am more than happy to be in touch with any feedback you might find useful. regards to salim sir and all others at the chopras family...

My name is Tarang Chowdhary and I’ve been in the UK for the past 5 years. In 2003 when I was a fresh graduate from Delhi University and was as confused as any other graduate would be. My friends advised me about the "The Chopras" where I met Anshika who was my counsellor. She went that extra mile to help me in selecting and applying the right pathway to academic excellence.

Initially I thought I’ll end up being in a different planet but after arriving in UWIC the staff made me feel at home and the MBA program has been one of the most fulfilling achievements in my life. It has broadened my outlook of life in the business world. It has taught me to think and act strategically.

In short, I am a changed person who now appreciates life beyond the commercial world because of which today I am working as an Admissions Manager with Kaplan Higher Education which is one of the World largest educational Institution.

I wholeheartedly recommend "The Chopras" and UWIC to anyone looking to broaden their business skill sets and opportunities.

Hi "The Chopras",

Though I wish to, I don;t have enough time to narrate all good experiences now, but I will just say that its really fantastic to be here with lot of good staff and supervisors around to get an enriching learning experience.

Have a great time and will be in touch when time permits me.

Dear "The Chopras",

Good to hear from you. My sincere apologies for not writing to you.

I am not trying to find an excuse but i got completely taken away by the studies part. I joined couple of weeks late so had a lot to cover. I had to work really hard to get in tandem with all classes. The fun part is except my final exams I topped in all the other exams, for final exams i went down to third. The college provides very good accommodation, some people might face problem with the food, because its mainly of beef and pork..

I got pretty good grades for my final exams, there were 16 students this time in my batch majority are Indians, apart from that there were Russian, Ukraine, Hong Kong, Philippines.

I completed my first semester by December 18th, I appeared for my placement interview in SkyCity Hotel (Auckland) its one of the best in NZ and got a full time job in the Concierge department. (Search for SkyCity Auckland in Google).

I couldnt find any part time job while i was in college because the city was some 9 km away from our college and there isnt any proper transportation after 5 PM and on Sat and Sun.

Now its been 3 months in SkyCity, work here is going fine. At the moment the hotel is very busy. Again we got second semester final exams coming in June.

Auckland s pretty nice place lot of Asians here and the climate here is also pleasant when compared to New Plymouth.

I think now they have changed the course structure of PG by extending the time in college to 1 year and training 6 months which i dont think is worth it as people have to work more hard to pay back their fees plus there isnt anything to study for an year in PG.

I hope the information I have provided is helpful.

Take care Mam.

Hi "The Chopras"
sorry for not keeping in touch for all this time.. My course is almost over. Only the dissertation is left. I have been working part time in a Mc Donalds restaurant since last February. Its a bit difficult to get part time jobs now owing to the recession. Often i dont get 20 hrs per week as there are too many people and less business. Setting the recession aside everything is fine. I will attach couple of pictures that i have taken from here with the mail..

Convey my regards to Divya maam and all others at Chopras.

Hi, In the summer of 2001, I was pretty confused when I came to "The Chopras" office. I was 21, about to finish my graduation and had a dream to go to UK for my post graduate education. I met Tanushree who became my counselor and I can still vividly recall her interest and concern in my applications. She gave me extensive information and promptly guided me through the application and visa process. She was very compassionate and was a patient listener. 8 years after, when my cousin wanted to apply for education abroad, I knew where I had to take him for advice- of course "The Chopras"!

Thanks very much guys. Your help was invaluable.

Dear Chopras,

I am started PhD in Cancer Pathology in Griffith University. No words for the support that provided by Chopras Trivandrum team. I came to Australia almost 2 years before to do MSc. It was a great challenge for me to do research in cancer. It was with full of problems when i started my application with Chopras. But they stood with me still the very end of successful application for MSc. I finished my research with Distinction got scholarship for PhD. I been in Beijing recently as a invited speaker on cancer pathology with the support from my Department. While coming back from China, I was thinking about all my past struggles, my family and Chopras. Thanks a lot. I hope my experience will be a great motivation for many Indians.

Thank you
