Why Choose Us?
"Sheffield is a fantastic place to live as a student and the University is well-regarded by employers." Sheffield Hallam is one of Britain's most progressive and innovative universities. Excellent links with local and national employers and many of their courses are tailored to industry.
The University has three campuses
Right in the heart of Sheffield's busy city centre is the University's City Campus, a welcoming modern environment with some of the finest learning and teaching facilities in Europe.

Around this hub revolves a flourishing, diverse academic community. Sheffield's second campus, only a couple of miles away, is a complete contrast.
The tranquil Collegiate Campus is set among lawns and trees in one of Sheffield's leafiest suburbs - just as typical of this city, England's greenest, as the bustling city centre.
Already invested around £60 million in new building and refurbishment since 1996, when the Adsetts Centre, our advanced multimedia learning resources centre, opened. The Centre attracts admiring visitors from universities all over the world, and the Collegiate Campus learning centre has now been extended and refurbished to the same high standards.
Among the latest developments are the impressive new science laboratories for the School of Science and Mathematics, including one equipped for advanced biotechnology research. New superbly equipped fitness facilities for the use of students, staff and local communities opened in 2002.
Plans for further development of both campuses well into the 21st century are already well advanced with the University replacing its third campus at Psalter Lane with a new home for the School of Cultural Studies on the site of the current Students' Union building on City Campus. The Students' Union will be moving to the former National Centre for Popular Music in early 2004.
It's not only the University environment that's popular with students - the city of Sheffield is a big attraction too.
