NBDE Part I is a basic science exam that covers the first 2 years of dental school curriculum.


Eligibility


To participate in Part 1 of the National Board dental examination, a candidate must to the following things :

• Candidate must submit an examination application & fee.

• Official dental  course transcript verified by Educational Credential evaluators,inc (ECE).

• All the non accredited college students’ Medical transcript need to be ECE evaluated.

• Course by course evaluation.


Exam structure


Composed of 400 multiple-choice items, it is evenly distributed among the following disciplines:

• Anatomic Sciences

• Biochemistry/Physiology

• Microbiology/Pathology

• Dental Anatomy and Occlusion

Exam Fee


$265. Partial Reexamination Fee $135 plus $35 per each section. Examination fees are non-refundable and non-transferable (no exceptions) for Additional score report - $ 25.
